How to Enable Windows 10 Developer Mode

You need to enable Windows 10 Developer mode, If you want to create UWP (Universal Windows Platform) apps on your Windows PC.

Open Windows Settings (Press Windows Key + I Key), Go to the Update & Security | For developers.

Select Developer mode under the features section as shown in the following image.

Accept the warning: Turn on developer mode?

It will begin to install all necessary Developer mode packages. After that you might want to restart your PC.

To be able to create UWP apps from Visual Studio and test UWP apps, Developer mode on your PC needs to be enabled.
